Maciej Siennicki (born in 1995) is a Polish photographer. His work shows the strong belief, that minimalism, human themes and faces – immobilized and almost paralyzed by his camera – tell the very unique story of the photographed person or relations between people. Visual aesthetic and static poses sign his imagery as a part of the artist’s sensitivity. In the years 2016-2019 Siennicki was studying in London, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of the Arts London. Currently lives and works in Warsaw.

At the beginning of 2019 in collaboration with sculpture artist and painter – Krystian Jarnuszkiewicz – founded an interdisciplinary art collective Sanatorium. The Group’s main focus is human psychology. Artists constantly explore the dialogue between people – the exchange, which is based on the unfeeling of freedom and the right to failure. The group's realization is established on photography and sculpture, which becomes a performative form – creating spatial installations. The space for spontaneous expression of emotions, experiences or state of mind.
